You will be part of a small group to ensure plenty of individual attention. The time is planned to meet your needs, either as a complete beginner or as someone who already has some glass work experience. For larger groups, up to ten, David and Gillian teach together.

The workshops are practical and fun, and there is a good choice of designs to select from if you are a beginner and project ideas for the more advanced.

All the workshops take place in the Strawberry Glass studio, unless otherwise indicated. We are based at Unique Cottage Farm Studios, a thriving arts and crafts facility in Spalding, Lincolnshire, with ample, free, onsite parking, good disabled access and a cafe selling delicious food. We are also able to offer workshops at other suitable venues so if you have a group of interested people let us know.

For an an unusual present vouchers are available for workshops held in the Strawberry Glass Studio.

Stained glass workshops for beginners and improvers are held most months at the Strawberry Glass Studio in Spalding, Lincolnshire. We also teach further afield, including tutoring at the Heritage Skills Centre at Lincoln Castle and at the Stained Glass Museum in Ely. You can learn both the traditional lead work skills and the copper foiling method developed for the construction of the Tiffany lampshades and suitable for lighter more intricate pieces. At the end of each workshop you will take home a unique and colourful piece of stained glass that you have made, along with new skills and insights into the world of glass working.

These are the dates we are booking currently. If none of them are convenient give Gillian a ring on 07714 458813 to discuss alternatives. All are suitable for beginners unless otherwise stated. If you already have glass skills and would like to work on a particular project, do make contact to talk through your ideas.
